I think HMRC owe me money, what is the deadline for claiming refunds?

You can claim back overpaid tax for up to 4 years after the end of the tax year. The deadline for:

2021/22 is 5th April 2026

2022/23 is 5th April 2027

2023/24 is 5th April 2028

2024/25 is 5th April 2029
